De ligging is perfect om de hoogtepunten van de regio te ontdekken. Het bekende wijnhuis Casanova di Bricciano ligt op slechts 500 meter afstand, en het charmante Gaiole in Chianti, met restaurants, winkels en een kleine supermarkt, is in 10 minuten met de auto te bereiken. Ook steden zoals Siena, Florence, Arezzo en San Gimignano zijn goed bereikbaar voor een dagtocht.
Trifoglio ligt in een rustig gehucht met uitzicht op olijfgaarden en glooiende heuvels. Ondanks de landelijke ligging zijn de voorzieningen van de streek snel en gemakkelijk bereikbaar.
Het huis is gelijkvloers en beschikt over een overdekt terras direct bij de ingang, ideaal voor een ontspannen ontbijt. Het grote privézwembad bevindt zich in een goed onderhouden tuin, omringd door geurige rozen en gazon. Verderop in de tuin vindt u een tweede overdekte eetplek met uitzicht op het landschap.
Binnen vindt u terracottavloeren, houten balkenplafonds en een stijlvolle, moderne inrichting. Met oog voor detail en een warme sfeer voelt u zich hier meteen thuis.
Trifoglio biedt rust, sfeer en comfort, een ideaal vakantieverblijf voor wie het authentieke Chianti wil beleven.

We had a really wonderful stay at this beautiful, rustic villa in Gaiole in Chianti. Surrounded by stunning vineyards, with its own private pool, it was the perfect place to relax, switch off and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. The villa is full of character, comfortable and with lots of personal touches and quirky details that reflect Holly’s creativity as an artist by trade. Holly was a fantastic host, giving us a warm welcome on arrival, leaving us wine and homemade olive oil as welcome gifts, and sharing her local knowledge to help us plan our week and make the most of the area. Holly even recommended a local festival where we were able to catch a free firework display in Radda, which was amazing, it really helps having someone local to check-in with throughout the week on recommendations and plans. We loved the balance of exploring the surrounding area and spending time simply relaxing at the villa. Given the rural setting and hot weather, there are naturally a few flies and mosquitoes around during the day and evenings, but this didn't detract from our stay, just bring your repellent! :-)

The location is ideal for exploring Tuscany, with Siena around an hour’s drive away, Radda just 20 minutes away, and Panzano around 40 minutes away. There are plenty of wonderful local villages, restaurants and markets to discover, as well as easy access to the train station at Montevarchi for a day trip to Florence. Parking is simple and inexpensive. The best meal we had was in Florence, at Fiaschetteria Trattoria Mario, a family-run restaurant since 1953. Do not judge a book by its’s cover, it is hidden down a side street, but the steak and home made ragu was incredible, and with its family-style seating arrangement, you were truly made to feel at home and like one of the family. Full of locals, it is a must do! The villa is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Tuscany has to offer, while also providing a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of the day. A truly lovely place to experience Tuscany, whether you’re looking to explore the region or simply enjoy some well-deserved downtime. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return in the future!
